What does this number measure?
NASA gives a length of 13.2 m for the Hubble Space Telescope. This reference measures the body from front to rear, not its 2.4 m mirror diameter or the span of its solar panels. Panels, antennas and small protruding details are interpreted; this side view is not a construction survey. The Hubble Deep Field is a separate observation and does not have this dimension.
Compare the stated dimensions
The comparison uses the number in each fact sheet: altitude, height, diameter, length or distance, depending on the reference. Two values in metres do not necessarily describe the same property.

Source and limitations
Rounded documented length; the illustration's appendages and perspective are not individually dimensioned.
Interpreted side view of the Hubble Telescope, not a photograph. The front-to-rear body length is the 13.2 m reference; panels, antennas and details are not individually dimensioned.
