What does this number measure?
Wire bonding connects tiny contacts using very fine metal wires. A diameter of about 25 µm is a common example, not a minimum or a value shared by all components. Here only the wire's thickness is to scale; its horizontal length is shortened and symbolic.
Compare the stated dimensions
The comparison uses the number in each fact sheet: altitude, height, diameter, length or distance, depending on the reference. Two values in metres do not necessarily describe the same property.
Source and limitations
Rounded technical example; the linked source was not consulted in this session, and the value has not been individually audited.
Only the wire's vertical diameter is compared; its horizontal length is symbolic.
Generic manufacture: Varies by period. Proposed historical date; an existing documentary source is linked but was not consulted for this date in this session. Do not interpret this reference as the manufacturing date of the illustrated specimen. Bonding wire of representative diameter; no manufacturer, process or dated model is identified. There is no universal year for this generic object.
